Automatic Model Selection

The Demand Foresight Advanced Forecast Modeling Workbench allows you to view the weekly forecast runs and see all the error information (MAD, MAPE, BIAS etc.) You can see EXACTLY how the forecast was run, no black box, no questions. You can iteratively run the forecast while making adjustments to the model in order to dial in the accuracy for those hard-to-forecast products. You can set specific models to run for specific date ranges to accommodate significant changes in demand.

The Demand Foresight application home page presents interactive KPI charts including total company sales projections, over-sales, under-sales, alerts, follow-up’s and favorites. Click on any chart to drill-down for more detail.

Stack History & Forecasts filtered or unfiltered by any attribute from your workbook. Stack quantities, dollars or even margins. Customize colors & symbols to your liking. Simply click on a Pie Slice to drill into that data. Over-ride forecasts in grid below graph or select grid tab to apply changes to individual slices.

New Product Introduction

If a cannibalization SKU is selected, that SKU can automatically be reduced based on the new SKU's forecast. A new item can have its forecast modeled based on a "Like" item or an entire set of "Like" items based on an attribute. Once you get the forecast set, you can then apply the entire distribution profile from a "Like" item or a set of "Like" Items based on an attribute.

Planned Orders

Demand Foresight will recommend planned replenishment orders for use in purchase orders and/or production schedules. Requirements are based on forecasts, inventories, current open orders and replenishment parameters such as lead time and fill-rate goals. Requirements are prioritized based on need and can be easily exported to excel. Planned orders are optional but will be calculated automatically if you provide the required data in the data workbook.

Promotions

Demand Foresight allows you to mark past and future promotions. When you mark a past promotions our modeling engine will take the adjusted history to generate the future forecast based on a more accurate history representation.
Next when you mark a future promotion the modeling engine will adjust the forecast to represent the lift you would expect with this promotion.

Cube Reporting

Demand Foresight includes Cube reporting this allows you to generate reports based on any view of your data. You can easily export to Excel these dynamic reports and save the report definition for quick future runs.
